"Digital Humanities: Under-Resourced Languages and Armenian"

Yerevan, Armenia — 6–10 July 2026

The ANR DALiH "Digitising Armenian Linguistic Heritage" and École nationale des chartes (PSL, Calfa) projects, in collaboration with Crisis and Memory: Digital Oral Histories Laboratory, are launching an international summer school bringing together specialists in Digital Humanities (DH), Natural Language Processing (NLP), linguistics, and related fields.

The program is dedicated to under-resourced languages, with a special emphasis on Armenian and language variation, and will include intensive, hands-on workshops and project-based training.

Program includes:

  • Digital corpus creation and management
  • Language documentation and speech processing
  • Linguistic annotation and interoperability
  • NLP/AI in low-resource settings
  • Data analysis, dissemination, and sustainability

Participation is free

Certificate of participation will be awarded

Language of instruction: English
